Registration fee: 490 € (excluding VAT)
Learn about the different RFID technologies and their associated benefits in a realistic manufacturing environment. Combining RFID with sensor technology has opened new and interesting fields of application. The workshop uses the example of the Fraunhofer IPMS wireless, maintenance-free sensor systems based on RFID-UHF to illustrate how both can be connected with one another. The workshop will provide insight into RFID connection via OPC UA and present its practical implementation. The potential of this technological duo will be practically demonstrated in the Industrial Internet of Things Testbed at various stations. In the hands-on session you have the opportunity to try out the technology yourself.
The workshop will be held at the HTW (University of Applied Sciences) Dresden Industrial Internet of Things Testbed, an Industry 4.0 model factory which can provide real and detailed depictions of partially automated production processes.
Food and drinks are included. Registration deadline is four work days before event begin.
