Fraunhofer Solution Days
Technologies for the world of tomorrow
Technologies for the world of tomorrow
Rethinking technologies in order to develop solutions for current problems of our time - this is one of the most important goals of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. The digital Fraunhofer- fair trade „Fraunhofer Solution Days" from October 26th to 29th 2020, will present technology highlights and significant solutions in relevant subject areas. With the aim to provide impulses for the future, the fair trade will demonstrate the thriving force and resilience of Germany and Europe as a business and research location.
The Fraunhofer IPMS introduces its technologies at the Fraunhofer Solution Days in the field of health care and mobility. In the area "Healthcare industry" the Fraunhofer IPMS is represented by the project hub “Microelectronic and Optical Systems for Biomedicine” (MEOS), whereas in the field of "Mobility" it is represented by the Research Fab Microelectronics Germany (FMD).
With regard to mobility, the Fraunhofer IPMS displays its MEMS mirrors for the technology LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) used for autonomous driving at the joint booth of FMD. In the field of health care industry, the Fraunhofer IPMS demonstrates the application of micro mirror arrays for structured illumination in medical diagnostics at the joint booth of MEOS. Under the leadership of the other MEOS institutes Fraunhofer IOF and IZ, the Fraunhofer IPMS presents the application of NED inchworm actuator in mobile microscopy as well as breath gas analysis using ion-mobility spectrometry (IMS).
In addition, an exciting framework program with expert lectures will take place as part of the trade fair. Join us to learn more about our innovative technologies for the world of tomorrow!
