Li-Fi to replace Wi-Fi. Fraunhofer IPMS invites you to a workshop on Li-Fi optical data transmission to be held at the Fraunhofer IPMS premises in Dresden. he workshop will provide industry representatives with an overview of the current state of development and the opportunity to personally test and configure the technology.

Fraunhofer IPMS will host a workshop on the topics of RFID technology, RFID sensor systems and the integration of RFID into internal information systems. The workshop will provide industry representatives with an overview of current developments in RFID technology and, at the same time, demonstrate practical implementation directly at the venue location. Participants will have the opportunity to try out The workshop will take place at the HTW Dresden Internet of Things testbed, an Industry 4.0 model factory.

The R&D partner Fraunhofer IPMS presents its latest developments in the field of MEMS scanning mirrors at the Automotive LiDAR conference on Sept 25/26. Scanning mirrors are essential components for next generation LiDAR applications especially in autonomous vehicles. Time-sensitive networking (TSN) comes into play to transmit data in real time via Ethernet. In combination with the new 5G technology, TSN has a broad impact, especially in applications such as industrial, automotive and pro AV/ consumer IP networks.
